CAST

My Thoughts:
I watched Beauty & The Beast from the moment it first aired on TV and I instantly fell in
love with not only the storyline, but the cast. I had already known of Linda Hamilton from her role
in Terminator and was already a big fan of hers. This show introduced me to some excellent story
telling and some excellent actors. Though Armin Shimmerman is best known for his role as "Quark" on
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, I will always remember him best as "Pascal." And I continue
to enjoy excellent performances by Ron Pearlman, who I thoroughly enjoyed in Alien Ressurection
where he played a character who is the complete antithesis of Vincent. (I just love it when an
actor can do a turnaround roll and play evil when he's better known for playing the good guy.)
Roy Dotrice continues to pop up on TV and in movies, such as The Scarlet Letter. He, too,
chose to take a turnaround roll and played a real horse's ass in that movie.
Unfortunately, the show ended on a sad note, with Cathrine dying. That was a difficult episode to
watch and it made continuing to watch the series a hard thing to do. Without Cathrine the show
just wasn't the same. I continue to hope that in the future the cast would agree to reunite for
one last show, but it doesn't look like that will ever happen. So much for hoping! I still enjoyed
the series while it was on the air and it remains one of my all time favorite TV series.
